This special brand was created exclusively for pride month by Nike, and we are so glad to be able to provide it to our wonderful customers.
Recently double Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes came out as gay, providing another brave role model for young athletes across the country who may still fear doing likewise. “I needed to do this now, for me”, she told the Sunday Mirror,
“I feel like I'm going to explode with excitement. Sometimes I cry with relief. The moment this comes out, I'm essentially getting rid of that fear”.

It is pleasing to see that the relatively new Air Max model, which debuted last year, has ditched its muted grey colour scheme in favour of a bright blue mesh. At Foot World we fully support wearing bright colours to express yourself, and to show solidarity to members of the LGBTQIA community.
